Empowering Women in Business: Panel with International Speakers
In 2026 I joined a panel of international women speakers to talk about what it takes to build a business that lasts.
In 2026 I joined a panel of international women speakers to talk about empowering women in business and what it takes for business owners to build something that lasts.
What we discussed
- —Structure over hustle. Most women in business aren't short on talent or drive. What they need is a clear framework so the business doesn't depend on them working every hour.
- —Moving from operator to visionary. The biggest shift in my career was stepping out of the treatment room and into the role of leading the business.
- —Building around family. I started my cosmetics clinic when my children were one and three. Business and motherhood can work together when you build with intention.
- —Backing yourself from anywhere. I've built three businesses from regional Australia. Your postcode doesn't limit what you can build.
- —Investing in yourself. Education, mentors and the right team are what turn a good business into a great one.
Where my view comes from
I've been in business for most of my life. I grew up in a family business and learned early that resilience and customer service matter more than any qualification.
Panels like this one remind me why I'm creating education for business owners. There's no shortage of ambition. What's missing is someone showing how it's actually done.
